numark tt200 a good turntable?

is the numark tt200 a good turntable and if yes what type of cartridge should i get with it

Couldn't speak on the Numark TT200 but as far as a cartridge goes I'd pick up a Shure M44-7. They track really well and don't seem to wear away at my vinyl like some others I've used.

im going with a Stanton T62 table with its default Stanton 500v3 cart. its a really good table, have had it since around last july

most tables, or entry level tables, are good enough (at least with a good cartridge) to sample, but may have to upgrade needles/cartridge if you are wanting to scratch.

Depends on what you use it for...
I use two pdx vestax and two technics 1200. I am a turntablist ..so for me those tables are the buisness..both sets going strong after fifteen years...aside from the occasional ground and rca needing to be resodered..
For sampling the most important factor will be your cartridges....like some one else said ..m447
For sampling and scratching..great needle...with minimum record burn.

depends on the price if you gettin it cheap...I got this table since I started making beats, it's ok for sampling that's bout it...

I wouldn't get this deck if you plan on scratching. Get something with more torque. Vestax PDX's are some of the highest torque decks out. Look at 1200's too. But for scratching, preferably something with a straight tone arm. TT500's or ST90's are cool too. Even if you can't get a good deal on a deck with a straight tone arm, you can pivot the cartrige to simulate one.

i have a tt200 and it works fine for sampling, and for just messing around scratching, but i dont think i would get super serious with scratching on it.

i used to have a tt500 (i dont think they make them anymore) and it was dope for scratching and sampling. had alot of torque. moreso than most "scratching turntables" if im not mistaken.

if your gonna just be sampling the tt200 will work fine.
