Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and also fairly new to the Mpc world. I've bought a used Mpc 500 recently and really love it. I've come across one problem though. I found a lot of good samples over the past few months, but some of them are either in the mpeg or mp3 format or whatever, or in 24 bits. Is there a free software that would make me able to edit my audio quickly? I currently use Audacity, but I find it quite long to edit one sample at a time, and I'd like to be able to do all my samples at the same time.

i cant quite remember, but i think foobar2000 has a batch converter, i'm pretty sure i used to use that. i'm currently using dbpoweramp which isnt free, but its oh so fast that i figured it was worth paying for.

also google batch renamer for when you want to keep your names below 16 figures.
