What instrument do you also play?

I think my main instrument is keys, or voice, but strangely I have not attempted full-heartedly to combine the two. I like to play semi-rhythmic stuff on keys, and I like to sing freely when I'm recording and focus on my voice.

other than that I can play drums, a little guitar (or stringed instruments like bass uke) I like open tunings, and also standard tuning in guitar.

and other than that harmonica, but everyone can play that!

Any Japanese producers making authentic Japanese hiphop? (ie with traditional instruments)?

saddly, not as many as you would think. i had a go at it but i dont think i'm a good enough player to really do it justice,... its been a pain looking for traditional musicians that are willing and dont look at you funny when you say "hip hop"

also, with the exception of a few producers, japanese hip hop is,.... embarassing to say the least

and personally i've moved back to jungle, my first true love and you'd be surprised how well that goes with traditional instruments,.... just put up a short mpc live practice session video on my http://funkerfuel.tumblr.com/ where i mixed the amen with shamisen samples. i'm looking to do more with shakuhachi as well as koto with the ultimate aim being live shows with traditional musicians.

what about traditional iranian and middle eastern music, big pimpin aside

grew up in the middle east so i got a thing for the sound, especially the drums

Guitar, Bass, Piano/Keyboard, Ukulele... but i play them mainly as a hobby, not really enough practice or any decent skills... and i incorporate these instruments not enough into my beat making...
