In a recient discussion on another post is this forum it seemed to be aparent that alot of musicians were un aware of how to get recordings done in home studios, on lower cost systems such as Sonar, Logic, Cubase SX/Nuendo transfered to pro studio's perfered format the Big DAWg Pro Tools. What you do is save your song then export the opened file as OMF.
Now keep in mind that this format was created by Digidesigne and intended for xfers from Avid to Pro Tools however not all pro tools owners may have the import option installed. My only reason for posting this is to inform "you", the user that it is posible to just bring a CDR containing all your tracks seperated - to a large facility for mix down. Now that is simple. Other transfering formats are Open TL and AES31. Do a search and expand your mind.
