I've finally got the chance to add a second dbx ddp w/ digital I/O & a t.c. electronic finalizer 96k to my recording arsenal.

Now I can focus on building material to construct the studio at some point in the near future. :)

LOL, honestly, I just got the finalizer about two weeks ago. It's the only piece that I can say that'll make me have to hit the manual every now & then.

I got it mainly to use the ad da converters. All the other bells & whistles are non necessities that I prefer to use in s/w mastering versions such as izotope ozone 4.

But it's good to have these hardware features if need be.

Storage unit cancelled, records now at my crib (finally) feels like I can breathe a little better now with all of my vinyl back. Back to work as soon as I replace the tonearm on my 1210.

For those of you that still deal with rotary head digital devices, check this out.

I snagged a used tascam da-40 dat recorder to replace an aging da-30 I've had since the early 90's. I landed this for little of nothing since the seller basically obtained it via an estate sell.

After I recieved it, I found out it was still practically new since it only had less than 7 total user hours on the heads.

How much luckier can a "G" get! :D

Congrats. Great deal!!! I got 20 DATs (beside the 150MDs) from the old days and always look out to get one for cheap and copy the old stuff to my PC but I still wasn't successful.
