Slicing and dicing a sample..can you do this like in Recycle

Been watching youtube videos on 2500 tuts, however, is this possible or even doable on jjos in that you load a sample. Then instead of autochopping it or manual chopping it in equal parts I could load it up and then say add slices manually if that makes sense?.

try messing with the start points in the screen where you chop and trim samples.

yes, look up non-destructive chopping in the jjos manual.

Copy the sample to all the pads and adjust the start and end points. I rarely use chop feature.

@ ill green, im assuming this wouldent go over so well if you sampled a whole song and you wanted to take bits and pieces out of it?

do you usually load up your sample and extract the part you want beforehand or do you sample from a whole song?
