is it possible to make sequences using 1 zip disk and then saving to a different zip disk?

I dont understand the question... honestly, the best idea on the 2000xl (not the 2000 classic) is to create a folder within in the disk or CF card (which I highly recommend over zips) and save all sequences and songs in that folder, and also save all programs and sounds in that folder.

Now, that is just my suggestion... however you can choose to save a sequence, or you can choose to save all sequences and songs in any drive that is connected... you can save it as many times as you want as long as you rename the file while saving if you already have a sequence saved in the same folder or location... for example, you cant have two files called all_sequence.seq in the same spot... right? (you probably would know this already)

now, you can load your song or sequence that you once saved in the mpc... then re-save all that in a new location or folder... lets say you made a song and you loaded it back up a week later and redid all the sequences.. maybe you altered the samples.. or maybe you remixed your beat... well you can pop out the zip disk and then save that song on another zip disk. Depending on the CF card reader you have if you ever upgrade it... you may not be able to load from one card and save on a different card unless you have a hot swappable reader. However this does not matter because you can load up the song, create your remix, then in that same card you can create a new folder and save the new version there....

yes.
you only need the zip disk in the drive while loading / saving.
you can swap inbetween.
