how i clear cijfers wen i rename a sample on the 2000 ?

Cijfers? You mean numbers? :P Press the button for space. At least thats what I do, I always refuse to read the manual till I really need to. ;)

scroll through the letters and once you get to I believe ! ( ) there should be a blank .. that one is not _ but actually a blank.. use that to replace numbers to keep the name under 8 characters.

I strongly believe the shift + 16levels does exactly the same thing, will check this out though since I didnt read the manual. :D :P

Nope, there is no blank option when scrolling. Just 16 levels making space, it seems in some situations it will remain a blank space but with other files it makes it a _. Also you don't have to push shift + 16 levels (even though it's written underneith like a shift option) all you need todo is press 16 levels.

there is on the classic... you go 3 clicks clockwise from miniscule z ... looks like underscore but once you push enter and you have one at the end it disapears.

wen i rename a sample i just press 16 lvl (SPACE) it kilss all letters and i can tip in a new name ... its work perfect.

Its neveer too late for a "thank you"

On the classic I just punch the name using the pads and if I want to clear the remaining characters I hit 16 levels until they are gone then hit enter. No jog wheel or shift key involved.
