my chops sound too choppy... suggestions?

thanks for the info now i gotta try it out and get my learn on.

chop to a grid, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 etc... and set the sequence tempo to the original tempo of the loop. also run chops thru a delay unit to make them sound smoother.

What do you mean by chopping to a grid?.

At the moment I'm having the same issues in that the loop I'm chopping is too 'choppy'

For example I have a orchestral sweep I chopped where I sliced it into 4 slices because the loop is just da,da,da,dum - sounds dumb I know but trying my hardest to explain.

Then I create a program and sliced samples, however, when I play them on my pads, it sounds too choppy and the groove seems lost?. I have played around with decay which has helped a bit but still bit off.

Also I changed the prg to mono, group 1 for each slice so they don't play over each other?

I'm using the free JJOS and 2500, can anyone help please?
