Input Thru

serious though, if i record audio thru the audio track (main screen) using input thru, or in record screen using the main outs, the wav is almost invisible.

Yet hit it once with normalize and BOOM! its the right size / volume again, almost like it should of been when you sampled. Anyone?


ALso not being able to see the level **** shits me.

tip of the day - try high pass filter on your kicks with cutoff set at like 10 - 20 and see what difference it makes, works well on muddy snares too.

What OS are you using?

You can monitor this in several ways in the latest JJOS.

Are you adjusting your record in level?

you can always see the volume level of whatever is being input when in the record screen... am i misunderstanding something here? turn up the volume??

I always adjust gain accordingly. when re-sampling thru the main outs though you cant see a level (unless im hooked into my DAW and using the subouts on my mixer to re-send audio through a fader on my daw and back out to mpc). Please tell me if im doing some dumb shit

worked out how to monitor input thru. still getting the hang of JJOS1.

Have you got analog in or main out selected in recording? what's your master level, coz if it's low and you rec main out it will be low, it should be almost like after normalize as you record it, at least visible

well i cant, and it drives me **** nuts. its like a hit and miss when im resampling shit.
