Formating a new harddrive for the mpc4000?

I wonder how you should formate a new harddrive to make it work with the MPC.

1. Which format are the MPC using?
2. When you install a new harddrive on the MPC can you do the formatation in the MPC system? Will the MPC found a new unformated drive?

Goto LOAD page>Utility. You should find the quick format menu there.
