Peep this mpc3000 "black edition" LOL

This dude is tryin to get an LE price for this wanna be. Just look at the INTEGRATED RHYTHM MACHINE script its split on two lines just like the non le machines would be. The limited is on one line due to the limited edition number plaque.

The seller is Armen's right here in Nyc, he can be VERY Expensive.....

He wants 1,700 for a stock 3000, 1,650 for a 4000, 650 for a S950, Etc

It's not surprising, but i never heard of a Black edition 3000....Rare maybe??

I dont know bout rare but I hit him up asking about it and he had it listed with LIMITED in the description.... After we exchanged words he had edited that out. lol

Is that really a factory 3000 le paint scheme without the le tag? Everything else looks on point, button color and all but why would akai do all that then not make it an LE and get more money for it?

Having owned both - I'd say that while the LE is a beautiful instrument it's in no way as superior to the standard 3000 as prices (ebay or otherwise) would suggest.
Don't buy into the hype - I'd go for a clean 3000 unit at a good price over an overpriced unit with a silver badge on it (in the right place) any day.

Forat said that this was done by AKAI back in the day for people to buy the chassis to turn there regular 3000 into the LE look. It was cheaper than buying a LE.
He also said the paint job on those were "shitty" compared to the actual le runs.
and that before they started the LE run, they made a few like them just like that one Armen is selling...

Id still say nice and rare to have , but for $2000- id want the limited edition plaque on my shi*t.....
