recording samples

So when I'm recording samples from vinyl the playback from hitting the assigned pads (or from just pressing play) is really low in volume. I'm getting a good input signal too? I've scoured the manual ad can't find anything so anymore help wools be dope.

check the sample volume in the "program" mode. The defaut volume is 70.

or get a "full level mode".

Yeh I know about full volume button I'll **** around with the sample levels in program mode tonight. Appreciate it

one thing i do if a sample is really low is stack the same sample 4 times on one pad...

Don't do that... You'll get phasing and distortion. In this case these side-effects are undesirable.

Just check your Program settings and if its still low, Normalize the samples.
