I have a PC that houses several DXi Instruments. It is secondary to
my Sonar PE3 driven DAW. I have Triton Workstation Keyboard, MPC
2000XL.
My Delta 1010LT has midi in and out.
I have the one out from my MPC going to my PC and I Have the other
out going to my Triton. I have the out from my triton is going to
A-in on the input, while B-in is coming from the Main DAW's midi
out.
How can I intorduce the DXI pc in this mix without needing anything
other than standard midi cables?
My Titon has 1in, 1out and 1thru
My MPC 2000Xl has 2ins and 2 outs.
Main DAW (Delta 1010lt) has 1in and 1out
DXI PC has 1in and 1out
I would like the MPC to remain as the master, for sequencing
purposes. I sequence with my MPC and record my sequences into sonar
afterwards. The sync betweeen them is specifically to sync by way
of midi. I don't actually record midi I use audio inputs. I want
use the DXI sounds the same way I use the Triton sounds. I can use
the triton sounds in my MPC by way of midi, I want to also be able
to turn to midi b and use what ever sounds are currently engaged on
the DXI machine. The DXI machine will house Sonar as well, just to
use as a host. I want to still record audio, by way of the inputs
that are already configured.
Any suggestions is appreciated
