Vinyls with good drum breaks?

I'm going to cop a pair of studio monitors and a turntable in a month and I need to buy vinyls with solid, decent sounding drums that I can chop and EQ. The thing is I need to buy them from eBay because I live in Finland and the crates are very limited, and expensive so I thought If I buy drum break LPs with 100 euros, chop the drums out of them, EQ and I might have enough nice sounding drums for a while.

Another thing: when you create new drums, like layer 2-3 snares on top of each other, do you compress them and record it and then chop the snare sound and trim it so you have a whole new snare? Been wondering this for a while.

google "300 drum breaks", then search those records on ebay

personally, i layer my drums and add compression for the "new" kick, then add effects afterwards...because if you say reverb then compress you may lose the effects of the reverb. just me though

you dont HAVE to use compression though, only when the track calls for it or when you really want it..

he means the mix of the whole track. if the track calls for compression or tightening up of a few sounds, then you may consider some compression. i've found using delay the right way will also "glue" things together

you can do all types of things to your sounds before layering. you can filter them, Eq them, layer the exact drum on top of itself.

Yeah man I know most of that stuff already, I like to experiment with sounds too.
I've been making beats with the MPC for 3 months now and I have learned ALOT, and I like the direction I'm going. Thanks for the support

Another thing I think also... don't look just for drum breaks! Some of the best drum sounds i found were just single drum hits, like an isolated snare... Just look for the music you likr, it will comre naturally
