RJD2???

I decide to go ahead and give my opinion on this dude even if upsets a few.I'm feeling those whole Nerd ("I'm NOT from the ghetto, so what") Hop thing! First of all, there is a real RACIAL aspect of it that saddens me,but I definitely won't get in to that on this site, second alot of these guy cats Meaning RJD2 tracks lack that "hip hop" depth to me. However the RJD2 Stuff I've is *different* not exactly Dj Shadow but in that direction
Just not as good in my opinion, but to compare him Just Blaze is like
Apples and Oranges, Just would better compared to Alchemist(the Current King) or KanyeWest, It's like the Comparing Nas to Sage Francis (whack!). For the record, Just is Inconsistent and even corny at times (think Hovi baby),but the has produced heat (December 4th, the Dynasty Intro) etc.

I've always thought his music was overrated, just like DJ Shadows and the only people I've known to like thier music are A. not a minority, B. dorks......

RJ and shadow have compositions that alot of producers dont have but alot of they stuff is boring although technically superious to most.

alot of shadow and rjd2 is just a million times better than 95% of that bullshit that they play on mtv. period end of debate that is fact, musicallly it is undeniable.

im feelin rjd2 though some of his stuff is too far left for me to get into... ghostwritter was the ish, i used to listen to that track just to study it, the way he matched samples and chopped them was crazy.. the remix of the f word for cannibal ox improved the track 1000percent from the original... i think he got skills but hes not touchin just blaze, alchemist or kanye in my eyes...

i didnt care much for since we last spoke but i liked deadringer and most of the soul position stuff with blueprint.

yeah deadringer was pretty good could not get into his last album though.
shadow 's first proper album was incredible especially for the time. still a good listen from time to time. is it that they are white that pisses people off?

being white and loving hip hop is a bit of a sticky subject. though i do not think it should be.

nah its not about them being white at all....Muggs is white, He's been one of my top 5 producers forever.....Alchemist is white, loads of Hiphoppers love his music....3rd Bass is white, they got crazy love.....

Shadow and Rj are just simply overrated when it comes to Hiphop music......Not saying they suck, but the way some people hype them, its insane......I've got the first Shadow album....Cool, but not classic and groundbreaking the way some say......It's irritating when people say that..especially when one of his tracks has a programmed skip in it that goes totally out of wack....Thats not groundbreaking to me, that was just wack.....

Ever heard of a RJ MIxtape Your Face or Your Knee Caps, Not only can RJ produce but he can mix records as well. I think it sounds better than most of the ish comin out now. He is better than most.. Bringing race in the matter is wack- thats beside my point-

Endtroducing is tha bomb! So is Preemphive strike and the last one ( cant remember its name... CD is out of reach, .. too lazy to get it! ..Whats that name again?)
Anyway, In flux is a wonderfull track! ( second 1 on Preemphive strike ) Shadow hasnt got any bad tracks, maybe "the beat" is a bit poor, but nice beat it has!
Shadow is dope, peepz! He's not the best skratcher, but hell he is defenitly the finest MPC producer Ive heared! His beats are extremely good!!! He's a good dj too!
