Make samples cut off

How do I make my samples cut one another off on the 500 like i play the first one and as soon as i hit the second one the first one stops and the second keeps going

What your trying to do is called "Mute Groups". The reason you have samples
overlapping is because their in Polyphonic. Check out this Turtorial

Thanks I found the same exact vid like an hour after I posted this and never had the chance to log back on appreciate it tho and sorry didnt know what to call it this is the first time i bought an mpc got everything working but couldnt do this lol

put your samples in mono
