Hey fam,
Unfortunately i dont have an mixer board so when i want to scratch over my beat, i usually hit play, go to record mode on the mpc and scratch. Sometimes to get the scratch to cut through the beat playing, i have to turn the gain fairly hot. Is it bad to do so? As in am i damaging my record in's on the mpc2500 by doing this? Thanks!
