What I'm trying to have conveyed is that the MPC has the circuit boards that can have it a standalone but they aren't being utilized. **** it, at this point, I'm sure we'll just hack the OS and create a better one like the JJOs.

If you truly want the "standalone" experience (which i doubt you know anything about) then I suggest you buy the MPC STUDIO, a MAC mini, without a monitor, or better yet, just disconnect the monitor on your current setup, OR, throw a towel over it, OR, if ya wanna get super-duper-creative, spray paint it black, so ya cant see nothing but that little LCD screen...
