Umm, I don't see the reason why Premo had to not give out that reason... He could've just say he like the filter on S950. I mean, I'm sure he likes the sound of S950 & MPC-60 though, but he's been consistent about the reason why he's keep using MPC-60 & S950 combo. He does use other equipment as well, but MPC-60 & S950 seem to be his main equipment still.
