Steo sequencing x0x0???

Can someone help me, going to buy JJOSXL for the 2500. Now watchign this demo here, how does he get into this semi x0x0 pattern mode if that makes sense from 0.46secs?.

I tried looking through the JJOS manual for JJOS 2500 but couldn't find what I was looking for?.

Thats for the 1000 not the 2500 unless the JJOS are the same?

Checking the online manual but can anyone confirm this, looking at the index and can't find it in the contents?
