Had a question for the Akai guys...would a port to Linux be improbable? I guess the answer really depends on your development platform.

I ask because I see a good number of user gripes with the Renaissance not being standalone. Though there are Windows boards sized to embed inside a controller like the Renaissance, the OS licensing gets tricky. With a fixed Linux image, users would be ready to go.

Either way...great job on the move inside the box, looking forward to seeing what Akai software can do when programmed to run on something bigger than a pint size processor!
