I bought this used from out of state, I know my pads are good, because I can [mode] go to and pad function, and when I went to edit it playedthensample (same on internal hd, ect.. (wav files, programs in .50s) but I cannot get my pads to trigger the sounds!!!!!!! They show upnwithnthe window button, tried changing a crap load of different settings. The pads are now muted. Is there a factory reset zi should know about? Or a way I can get my sounds to play when I hit the pads??!??! Any help is much appreciated, thanks!!!!!! :cry:

you dont need a factory reset, but you do need to read the manual. there is simply no way around it. assigning sounds to pads is mpc 101 level stuff. we could spoon feed it, but that's like giving a man a fish rather than giving him a pole. here's your pole;

Good luck.

Pads are NOT muted*** I will download the manual, I assumed when you loaded the program (as the 1000) the sounds come with it, & as I see then, I cannot hear them.

You have much to learn young grasshopper. At the very least read the quick start guide. That will get you going. Then when you can't figure out how to do something.... Say add fx? Then pull out the big book and read up on it.

Good Luck And Have Fun.

In that case: MODE+PAD6. Then you can select any pad to assign up to 4 samples per pad. If you have samples loaded just select a layer and scroll to select a sample. If there is a questionmark before the sample, something is wrong.

To auto assign samples to pad you have to.............read the manual!
