Hi guys
Since I don’t have the means to test this before buying I’m asking here if someone is using a midisolution thru box with an MPC2000XL.
In oder to have the midisolution working, the midi input has to deliver 5V if not the thru box will not work. I’d like to get one to use with the MPC2KXL and avoid a long daisy chain between three synthesizers.
I really want to try to sequence my whole setup with just the MPC and leave the computer alone for a while, but the MPC2KXL has only 2 inputs, so either I daisy chain the juno106, alphajuno2 and sh-101 (actually not the 101 itself but the doepfer mcv4) on one port and the 909 and the machinedrum on the other, or I go the thrubox route. Daisychaining the two drum machines is not a problem, but maybe daisychaining three old synths is.
I don’t know if the MIDI OUT of the MPC are delivering those 5V or not. Anyone here knows it?
