quantize drums

im just wondering if people quantize there drums at all i usually do it for my hi hat to get a rhythem and then re do it live. what do you people think sound better live playing or quantizieng drums

a lotta people quantize everything EXCEPT the high-hats...

depends on what im doing but dont restrict yourself to anything!!! dont b one of those fools saying "NEVER QUANTIZE!!" .. do ur thing... its def okay to never quantize, btu telling someone else they should never use it is like a religious personal telling u their god is the only god and if u dont believe it u suck

1/8 quantize on snares
1/16 on the hihats
i always keep the drums open... to be wild lol
sometimes ill cut loose the snares to add a sense of depth and
once in a blue moon ill do the same with hi hats but mainly i stick to this plan
