you probally have the printer port zip it also has 25 pins but it isn't compatible with the mp not matter what adapter or connector you use i went thru the same thing when i first got my MP
you gotta get a scsi zip they dont make them anymore but you can get one for cheap on e-bay.... or a scsi hard drive
