[Request]Date Stamp for faster Saving

I think it could be beneficial to have a date stamp as an option for saving things. For example you could have Beat1_4.9.12 . The underscore must go with the date.

I think it should have been added since the beginning, especially if you're lazy and if you don't remember which beat was done on OS1, OS2 or OS2XL because of all the incompatibilities.

From where does this ts come from and how will mpc keep track of time once switched off?

a date stamp is a nice idea but afaik the MPC has no internal clock.

I think a list of names to choose from in the naming dialogue box is the way to go.

or maybe there could be an option to set the date on power-on, the MPC will use it to stamp files up until power-off.

Yeah, I think you are correct. This goes along with a list of names if the MPC has no clock.
