I will say it is your floppy drive but you said you already tried with another drive, your last chance it is to with a 3rd good known working floppy drive and see, if still not working then most probably you are connecting power cord the wrong way or your MB it is **** up

If you install the power cable to the floppy drive upside down you will burn up the floppy drive. Floppy drives don't like to have the 12V and 5V lines switched.

yeah i will but i cant switch right now becuse first i need to update my mpc to 1.20!
and for that i need a **** floppy driver or a zip driver! i dont have a zip driver and friends also not thats why i need to do update it with the floppy!

Post pictures of your MPC including pictures of the cables, floppy drive and motherboard so people here can help you troubleshoot your issue.

You do not necessarily need to update to OS1.20 if you are installing a passive card reader such as one of the Addonics models. I've seen the Addonics and ATAPI drives work on OS1.14 though with the occasional quirk.

You don't need to update to 120, continue on with your device install.

This cable that you are holding does NOT plug into either the floppy drive or the card reader. Next to the connector on the motherboard it says IB-M208P. This is for the 8-output expansion board ONLY.

Voltage is transferred on this connector which is why you are burning up your floppy drives.

You need to connect the floppy drive cable to the correct location on the motherboard.
