Akai S3200 button problem

I've been using the Akai S3200 (original one) for a few years and today all of a sudden some of the buttons became dead (unresponsive). Those buttons are select prog, edit sample, edit prog, midi, disk, tune level, utility, help (all the button row which lights in red). Other buttons work just fine.

Does anyone ever got problem like this?

open it up and check for loose cables. also use some deoxit.

i doubt it will be loose cables, cause it's been sitting in the rack all the time.

well if all of a sudden a whole row of buttons fail (and it is likely that these buttons are all on the same board which connects to the mainboard thru a single cable) i´d definitely check for loose cables.

I urge you not to use deoxit, or any other caustic over-marketed panacea.
Those contact sprays eat away at your gear.
Take it to a tech, or as advised check the connections... These Akais have dry solder joint issues on the connectors.

you´ve never used deoxit i guess. so you don´t know that this ish is a facking miracle!

it has saved a lot of my near-dead mpc buttons.

if you buy a nukai mpc always purchase a can of deoxit with it. this company releases faulty machines, you know...
