Ren and 2500 is my next purchase

2500 wit JJOS for the road/live play/studio, and MPC Ren strictly for studio.. thing is starting to look BEAST, done deal, and combine the 2 and I'm in sequence and pad bank heaven

There's no guarantee the JJ files will load in the Ren. It might be worth waiting for clarification before you dive in.

You could always go for the 2500 with akai os and the Ren, i think the 2500 can do most of the stuff you need with akai os... Or atleast the possibility of loading 2500 beats in Ren is worth the limitations with akai os, atleast to me.
