Creating cassette tape loops

Nothing to do with MPC's but some may find it interesting I guess...

Anybody else messing about destroying cassette tapes to make f*cked up stuff?

Going to try it with synth sounds as I originally intended tomorrow at some point along with some other techniques.

This is the 4track I am using in the video... Picked it up for 8 quid few years ago, yea yea Tascam's are better but it was mega cheap and it's small

Dont under estimate the x28....Its a high quality piece.I had one for a good whle and made some pristine recordins.Great eq.Nice machine.I travelled with mine and blew away a ragga dj with his mp3 s with my tape dubs.Literally rumbled the whole shack with bass.The ragga dj was well impressed and did not beat me up.lol

I dig tape looping. Though I don't do it in a cassette. I do it on a reel to reel. Watching your tape get eaten, or when it breaks is always a shame. There is something to be said about the work involved-very satisfying.
National Geographic (here in DC) has some old reel to reels laying on the floor in a corner and I am trying to get them to donate one to my collection. tape=good
I love the look of the Pioneers btw.
