Transposing a sample to multiple pads

Hey

I'm still new to the mpc 500, but i think i've seen on a youtube tutorial that you can tranpose a sample (a piano note for example) To mulitple pads by few commands. What function is that? I'v looked trough the manual and i can't seem to find it in sample editing?
