Is there any concrete confirmation that the MPC Fly works with the iPad 3? Fits securely in the case?

Damnit....can someone from Akai test and see?? If it doesn't, they losing, cuzz I'm not finna by an iPad 2 when I already have a 3.

What's annoying is the lack of comment from Akai. They could at least confirm if they are working on making it compatible, will it be in an update? ETA? Or do they have to make an entirely new version....tell us something! I've posted the question on their FB page, and sent them an email and no response.

I was going to say...they probably haven't answered you because it is a given that they will support ipad 3. For them to release an ipad-based product months after the release of the ipad 3 and only support earlier versions would create far too much confusion in the market.
However, their page ONLY refers to the ipad 2. Maybe they are trying to sort it out and unwilling to comment until they are sure they can do it.

Sometimes I still laugh out loud about the beat kangz and that time some English dude hacked the Akai marketing website and stole a bunch of pictures of the Ren before it was released.

nobody can claim official iPad3 compatibility until Apple signs off on the prototype, so dont expect an official response for a while.

This cat from Akai replyed on FB that it'll work with the Ipad3,but I'm thinking the case should fit the Ipad3 nice n snug,or,they will create two versions IPad2 n 3 considering the slide in case looks just like a over size iPhone rubber case,I assume it be cheap to make both considering the real tech is in the pad n button portion of the case,,,
