Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Right now I can almost CUT all my samples on my MPC2000 except ONE sample...

What did I do wrong? CUT works most of the time on my MPC2000, but sometimes it just doesn't work on one particulary sample.
Does someone have the same problem or know how to fix this?

I really want to know this because I am making a beat right now and it is not possible to save when the beat is over 1.44mb ..

The beat? Or do you mean a single sample is over 1.44?

The particulary sample that doesn't cut is like 1200kb and all the other samples I have in my MPC2000 are like 1000kb. That would be 2.2mb and I have a 1.44mb floppy disk.

I want to cut that particulary sample from 1200kb to like 200kb

Can you save it as WAV to a floppy disk by itself and then reload it?

FREE MEMORY

SND?
SEQ?

How much do you have left?

As I already deleted the sample and saved the beat without the sample in it I can't answer your first question.

I had 137kb free memory left on my floppy disk when I saved all the sounds(except the sample that doesn't cut and is 1200kb),sequences and programs.

I think it is just a bug in the wav file. Next time I will just record the sample again into my mpc and try again to cut it
