Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Ok, this question has probably been asked 1000 times before, but I couldnt find any topics related directly related to this, so I'm going to shoot form the hip: How the hell do I hook up a SCSI CD Rom drive to my MPC 2000? I went all over town looking for a SCSI CD Rom drive earlier today, and by blind luck I found some guy that worked out of his home and had an old one in storage. Now I have a new problem: I can't find a SCSI cable that fits both the the ports on the CD Rom and the MPC. It's an old, fat body 50 pin on the CD rom. In addition to that, I don't know where I would hook up the ground and the power supply to on the CD Rom. I'm so freaking lost it's ridiculous. Anyways, if ANYONE could help I would really appreciate. Thanks.

For the cable you can check out www.scsiforsamplers.com

I don't know what you're talking about with the power and ground.

As far as the power supply goes there is a DC power port that you would normally plug into I think your motherboard in a PC. Where else could I plug that into?

An electrical outlet that would plug anything else into.

Can u post a pic of all the ports and connections on the CDROM drive so we can see it?
