Nord Modular G2

Hello people. I have been eyeing up the Nord Modular G2 lately and was wondering if anyone who has got one would recommend it. I don't have any hardware synths (all vstis) but am looking to get one.\

The NM is not really for anyone seeking instant gratification. There are certainly a lot of user patches available and is actually has the best user base for sharing patches. However, to make full use of the NM, be prepared to spend hours on end creating and designing the architecture itself, then you can spend additional hours tweaking the parameters.

If you want the Nord sound with a lot less work then you can always buy the hard-wired synth architecture in the Lead series.

I bought the G2 Engine and use my MIDI keyboard.


It has good bass and can emulate almost any synth.

There's a lot of good patches.
