Well im glad you guys are digging this post (pun intended) as sometimes we all could use a little inspiration and I know for me besides the obvious aint nothing better than going on a mission and coming up with some dope records!! and i dont care if you go through a thousand and the beat is on the last one!! it makes your whole day worth whlie
I have a few more spots where the living is easy and I feel for all of those who dont have or get to go to these shops. I have realized it a long time ago " IM A VINYL JUNKIE" and I know there is no cure!! So no matter how many times I see a copy of Bob James 1 or 2 im going to copp it!!
even though i may never use it because it is so well known and stomped to death.Something about the power that these records have on me.. It could be that im just being nostalgic and long for the days before "MONEY" THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL..DESTROYED HIPHOP IMO but as we all know its nice to get paid for what you do!! So yes Im always getting dusty somewhere and I hope that even in this age of digital downloads that folks will continue to support the artists that made the music and the stores that continue to sell it!!.. By the way we need a" BREAK BEAT HALL OF FAME" even though I know we use anything to make HipHop with "not just the breaks".. Ill- green/ damien 907 /gertie I see you..
