CD RW FOR MPC 2000

I have an mpc 2000
I would put an external CD RW drive with SCSI connections on mpc 2000
I do not want to write to CD RW
I just want to access files
It is possible?

It should theoretically work but the mpc2000 is a little picky about what cd rom drives it will work with so try before you buy.
Also, don;t forget mpc2000 cant open folders or read standard format CDs.
