dan whats the latency like on a pc

In a previous post u stated you've achieved lower than 2ms on a Mac but you never mentioned hows latency on a PC.I ask this because Ive noticed latency differences between the two Operating Systems .For example im getting lower tighter latency With Mashine on my hackintoch (same audio card same computer) than with my Windows 7 version.not only Mashine but Ive noticed this difference with other programs geared to both O.S.I also noticed Akai always demos the software using a Mac.just wanted to know if the Ren/Studio would perform the same on both platforms.

Will the Ren also have the pad toggle and random pad function like the 5000

i was using PC previously, and I was getting about the same results on my i7 running win7. I was able to work at the lowest setting without clicks, which is 1.5ms I think.

Once you start piling on plugins etc you'll probably have to up that, but even at buffers around 512 its pretty well playable. I think 512 is like 6ms? something around there.
