anybody dig 45's?

If it's on 45"s it doesn't mean it will always be louder or cleaner. I have many "mint" 45"s that sound like shit compared to the lp. The real factor is the length of the song....a 12" vinyl for example will start to lose quality once you pass 0:12:00 (12 minutes in length). That's why if you took say the NAS Illmatic lp and compared it to Wrath of the Math, it's like night and day. When or if you ever press a 12", trust me...keep each side below 12 minutes. If not, you might be kicking yourself after hearing the final product

I love 45's too.

i think you got to clean or time to change your needles homie.

45's are cool, but I can't double pitch them that fast, so I prefer 33's

45s are awesome. i'm lovin mine. i didn't really think about em that much before i saw that 45king video where hes spinnin 45s. that clip was inspiring.

yeah man i love 45's mane i got a ton plus they come with different versions of songs try listenin to Marvin gaye's GOD IS LOVE the 45 is different from the lp thats the difference plus they do sound louder imo

i love some 45s good ones are really rare round hgere though...i got a copy of mfsb 'something for nothing' its getting really scratchy from playing it so much...anyonje got a double of that one?? such a dope track! if you know it then you know it!

what about cameo -funk funk, mine is so old and when i bought it ,itwas tore up so bad lastnite i had to fix the scartch it had , it was lopp'd so perfect i didnt want to mess it up but it was only like 50 seconds into the song.

I totally dig for 45s. Like many said before the rarest grooves are found on 45s and not 12". I have 1500+ 45s but my prob is I can't seem to find a heavy metal 45 adapter to still hold down on some 45 scratching. I just have black plastic ones and the 45 slides under the adapter when i scratch. Among the gems, Turtles buzz saw (3), Little stevie wonder - fingertips (2), Grandmaster flash - beatstreet, Booker t. and the mgs - green onions and hang em high...those are just a few ive been diggin right now. but yeah 45s are where its at.....anyone feeling 45s right now should check out DJ Shadow + Cut Chemist Product Placement and Brainfreeze.

damn dude thats some shizz you got thereth at dnice sample is ill man , i got the album,
anyways you can do this to scratch line up your adapter right then take it off and tape the record down to the slip mat and use the slip mat as your record but you scratch on from the 45, i have done this before it works pretty good , but i got the adapters that go in the middle the 45 adapter i got some plastic ones and some metal ones for on air dj's those are ill . i bought alot of in a box and a few of them had those metal adapters , there a biitch to take off tho,

anyways you guys got me inspired to go throw my 45's in the last few days and last nite i did a set at the bar witb 45's and people was diggin it, i must have threw it down for like 45 mins just falshin all 80's 45's and a few 70's stuff, i use to dj weddings back in the late 80 earlie 90's and use to spin a lot of 45's cause they were cheaper to buy songs that you didnt like and play at partys , i have around 200-300 45's , i found some classic shizz in there that i had forgotten about, knee deep, dance to the music, boogie nites, groove line, and one of my all time classics, but i cant say till i find it on 12" i see it and i will get it , what ever it takes,

i got to find a spot in the bay that has 45's cause i want to go deep on my 45's aswell they sound so chuncky when played live man it was dope , the owner said he had people commenting on my mix ,they loved it , only made 10 bucks . it's all good cause this is something that i will do to the day i have no life in me left .
