Promo stuff. Back in the '60s and '70s, a few head bands put their stuff on colored wax inspired by the psychedelic movement at the time. Gimmicky but cool. Some had weird colors and pictures.

They still make them today so those could be reprints because the originals came in cardboard sleeves.

nono. i ment. why the hell do have the 12 inches this plastic sleeves, whereas the album and the 10 inches and 7inches have normal paper sleeves...

I'd say it's to show them off. Why hide your fancy colored vinyl in a normal paper cover if you can make it see through and show it off to everybody?!
