KRYLON to paint my mpc??

Im tempted to spray paint my mpc with a GLOSSY black krylon paint. What yall think???

I would rather do hobby shop type acrylic paint. That paint is made to stand up to alot of touching of fingers and hands.

krylon is aight i guess but get primer and clear coat too. i went to auto zone and got paint. U sand down the cover a little (with it off the mpc), then u do the primer for a few coats, then u use the main coat a few layers, then clear coat. Takes like a day and u should give it mad time to dry between the layers. I used the auto zone kit they had, the two tone shi*. I wouldnt use krylon though casue its cheap paint. also when u gettin low on paint dead the can, casue u will get splatters. Also nice even strokes cross it.

Somebody somewhere must have tried painting their MPC without removing the cover. I'd love to see a picture of that one.

i think someone on this site did actually. they didnt remove the case from the machine and taped up the screen. I would really not advise that.haha.

krylon is fine ive used it a few times on my mpc allready..
next time i want to powder coat it though.

maybe you got it confused with me? i taped the screen, but i DID remove the cover from the unit. I just didnt remove the window (screen) from the cover. came out hot though.

nah i know it wasnt u. it was someone else. They left the whole cover on.

Krylon is best for color blends and tagging on walls.

montana and belton got more colors

Montana or beltons don't sound like a great idea either. If you spray it on too thick it won't harden, and too thin will chip. They're fine for bombing, but not that great on flat metal surfaces.
If i would paint my mpc, i'd powdercoat it. That will last forever, and looks better too.
