I'm having the same issue. Have you figured it out? It only happens when using the jjos 3.17 or 3.18. The fx sends work fine if I use the free jjos or the akai os.

Yeah it **** sucks that JJ removed the traditional MPC FX send interface to incorporate the track mixer.

The deal is you first have to go to the track mixer or something like that, then there you enable the effects for the track or program or some shit like that.

See here

I hate the extra steps, but it probably has some flexibility as the reason. Anyone care to comment that likes this?

OOOh, actually, it seems that you can have a single track go to the effect and not the whole program. I'll have to try this.

yes sends to FX per track in mixer window BUT in program you can set FX routing as well as just per pad send and or track send
ie for whole program send settings - Just hit shift & F6 when in program window for all in pads OUT/FX window. This can then be easy to send every pad, every pad as well as the chhoice of track to.. So for OP you set FX out global for track in TRACK MIX window but you can have the versatility of being able to route anything anywhere. Which is awesome as it allows you to route some pads of a program and not others in same track and heaps of other reasons and ways. For instance I chop a beat and only send some pads to out 4 as mono to external FX and then this is then returned through my MPC to the internal FX and filters, which of course you can hear

Yeah, the quick way to get back to the old way of working with the FX send miser is to go into program mode, go to the OUT tab, and hit shift to select all pads in a PGM, and change the out setting from TRK to ST, once they are on ST you can use the send mixer as usual.

The default setting is always set to TRK, which is good because then you can use the track out and effect parameters to set stuff, but makes using the FX send mixer confusing if you don't know this setting exists.
