JJ OS

any out there than give me a tip or something. Ive been using the regular akai OS and I like it but Ive been reading a lot on the jj os. I got the akai OS pretty much figured out. It seems like on paper the JJ os is better, but I almost dont wanna bother because the regular OS is getting the job done. Is the JJ worth the switch?

you can always try out the free version and see if it's worth it to you.

personally, i love JJOS1... most people here love JJOSXL... it's all just a matter of how much juice you wanna squeeze out of your MPC. if you ain't still thirsty, no need to squeeze harder i suppose...

Then there's the other side which is you only think you don't need cause you don't have it.

JJ just opens up too much creativity to ignore the possibilities.

@ntalec...can you drop a few examples on me?

Better.. tell us is there anything you would like to be able to do and it's not possible on akai os.

i personaly like jj os
its like an un-official update that enhances the mpc in whole bunch of ways
if u dont work primarly on the mpc and just use it for this n that then maybe an investment in jj os wouldnt be your thing
but
if the mpc is your main thing then getting jj os/2xl etc would be highly beneficial to you as it merely adds upon the origianl os and gives the mpc a whole new set of abilities.

its like your mpc is a transformer
when the jj os is installed it goes from semi truck to giant ass kicking robot LOL

Word so if i were to install the JJ os,would it erase everything on my memory card?

Apart from any functionality from JJ OS, one of the big acheivements was to fix the bug on the akai OS which caused crashes and loss of work when saving to card or HD. This cannot be taken for granted on the akai OS, this caused tremendous frustration and pain!
