Hey I'm new to the MPC1000 so go easy on me. Also if all the information I need for this question is in a link somewhere then if you could post it up then that would be great.

Following the Manual's instruction- I would like to apply a lowpass filter in real time using the Q-link sliders, now I can set the level, pan, tune in the "MODE + SLIDER" section and hear it working, but when I select filter cut off (either 1 or 2 or 1+2) and move the slide I cant hear it applying to the pad I'm hitting.

I realise the effects can only apply to one pad at a time.

Ideally Q1 would be resonance and Q2 would be cutoff.

I'm running Free JJOS but can't see a JJOS section of this site on the main page so hence why I'm posting here.

Thanx for any help.

ps. I assume one filter is a high pass and the other is a low pass, but can I change the filters to be bandpass?

Thanx for the reply and my apologies for not checking this sooner, I've been playing with the MPC and loving it :D

Right so would I need to assign a LPF to a pad before going to the Q'Link menu system? I dont have my MPC with me right now but is there a pad where I can hit "Menu" then "Effects" or something like that? then enable the filter and finally assign the Q'link?

As you can tell I'm slowly getting the hang of the thought process behind the menu systems but still a bit green on advanced features.

Thanx in advance for any help!
