SCORE!!

So I've had a mpc 60i with version 3.10 os I got ebay a few months back. It was super cheap because it was sold "as is" so I took a risk on it. The floppy drive was updated to read HD floppies, and thats all I knew, the pawn shop had no way of testing the machine. Well when i got, cosmetically it was in poor shape but hardware wise everything worked.

So a few days ago a few tacts were acting up so I went to DeOxit and when I opened her up noticed the memory was a little lose. Now I assumed it only had 13 secs because thats all it showed in the sample record window and never popped her open because she worked well. So today i go to sample and realize that lose memory was part of the expansion and I have expanded memory.I'm like a kid in a candy store cause that extra time is going to make a world of difference

Nice. I always take used equipment apart before I bring it in the house. I've found crazy amounts of bugs, food, spiderwebs etc. in old gear. Never found anything worthwhile though.

sweet deal that is great! especially if you can use HD floppies with it... that will allow you to max out the memory with samples and still only use one disk.
