BPM / 60 = beats per second X beats per bar.

there fore 120 BPM = 2 beat per 1 seconds X 4 beats in a bar (4/4) = 4 seconds per bar.

Thats what i do. i work out the time of the bar instead.

Going to simplify this just for laughs

240 / BPM = seconds per bar (@4 beats per bar)

What if the BPM is 133? Do you feel your brain cringe? I do not wish to burden my prefrontal cortex with this kind of thing when in the middle of making some music.

so whatsa 3/4 time echo at 175.2 BPM then??
thats when i usually go for calculator when i try to figure predelays and echoes usually, to keep em in time
