Assuming that my usual set up is : 1 and only 1 voice (drum for example) per track,
in other words a pad will correspond to one track.

In this situation, would there be still a difference between the pad mixer and track mixer ?

I guess I am asking if in this situation (1pad/voice per track) there would be "things" I can set in one type of mixer and not the other ?

My guess is that the 2 types of mixers become identical, but I may be missing something.

thanks !

I've been looking into these since I don't use them much and the fx routing got me confused.

Basically, the pad mixer is saved with the program, the track mixer is saved with the sequence.

In your example, it would be pretty much the same unless you used the same sound on more than 1 track, then you could have a different level for the same sound based on the sequencer track. You can also enable FX for the same sound on one track and not the other, or a different fx on each track (FX 1 or 2).

it's not the easiest thing to grasp, but I'm going to try to play with it more and see what else. it's a whole new grazing territory in the 1000 and I like it.
