Step sequencing XoXo Question

I think I read somewhere that this will be possible on the Ren, being both the Ren and Maschine have a 4x4 16 pad layout...

Will step sequencing on the Ren be in any way similar to that on the Maschine? My guess is that is has to be very similar

Sorry if this a dumb question and the answer is an obvious yes, I like how maschine does the step sequencing, this is why I ask.

From the video's Andy posted, it looks similar to Maschine. Step Sequencer is a dedicated mode.
