MPC 2500 LE Left Output and Left Headphone not working

The left output and the left side of the headphones are not working. All of my 8 outs and my digital out work just fine, but routing through 1&2 of the 8 outs is a pain and I dont really care to use the digital outs.
I am thinking that it has to do with my Volume rotary encoder b/c I would get a crackling when turning up and down the volume before I lost my left outputs.
Has anyone else had this happened?
Could there be something else causing this to happen?

if you hear cracking from volume ecnoder means the pots are do...hopefuly that will solve your problem and you wont have to replace the pcb board

Update: My volume rotary encoder finally locked up and wouldn't turn anymore, so I ordered a replacement. Once I got the part, I took apart my 2500 to also find a crack on the right side PCB! The crack goes through a few of the copper traces that connect the volume encoder contact points to the ribbon that connects to the PCB that is under the screen.
I tried to just solder in the replacement encoder, which still left me with no sound.
To fix the problem, I took some really small coated phone wires, cut them all to about 3 inches long, then I added some solder to each end.
Using the service manual and eyes sight, I followed the copper trace on the PCB from each of the rotary encoder contacts to the ribbon contacts.
I then soldered one end of a wire to the volume encoder contacts, then I soldered the other end of the wire to the ribbon contact. I did this for each of the volume encoder contacts. Doing this is essentially doing the same thing that the PCB copper traces do.
I put my MPC 2500 back together and it works just like new!!!
Doing this saved me about $100 on replacing the PCB, which also seems to out of stock everywhere.
